Journalist Khalifa Guesmi has just been released from the Mornaguia prison, following a cassation and referral by the Tunis Court of Cassation, said the National Union of Tunisian Journalists (SNJT). He was serving a five-year prison sentence for his journalistic work, according to the SNJT. A delegation from the union's executive committee, led by its president Zied Dabbar, went to meet Khalifa Guesmi on his release from prison on Wednesday night. Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
