The turnout rate for the December 24 local elections in Siliana governorate reached 21.58%, i.e. 18,856 voters out of a total of 40,573 eligible voters, placing the region in first place in terms of turnout at the national level, said the Independent Regional Authority for Elections (IRIE) in Siliana.
