POLOKWANE - Bela Bela police in the Waterburg District have launched a man hunt for murder suspect after a 31-year-old man was discovered with stab wounds in his bedroom in BelaBela township extension 5 on Friday night 18 October 2024 at about 22:10. It is reported that the victim was at home in his bedroom when a known male entered the victim's bedroom, resulting in an altercation. The suspect then allegedly stabbed the victim on the upper body with a sharp object. He then fled the scene when the victim bled excessively. The police and Emergency Medical Personnel Services (EMS) were summoned to the scene and the victim was certified dead on the scene. The police are appealing to the public with information that can lead to the arrest of the suspect to contact Bela Bela Detective Captain Dana Smith on 082 319 9336,crime stop number 08600 10111, nearest police station, or MySAPSApp. Police investigations are ongoing.
