OR TAMBO - OR Tambo International Airport police continue with their weekly operations of stamping the authority of the state. This time around, the vigilant police officers at the airport intercepted pieces of 10 kg of rhino horn at the cargo shipment warehouse area. The men and women in blue were conducting their daily routine operations when they inspected a warehouse and discovered a suspicious artistic sculpture. They scanned it, upon further inspection and grinding of the sculpture, discovered four pieces of rhino horn. No arrests have been made and Investigations are underway on the origins of the rhino horn and the verification of the destined address in China as stipulated on the shipping label.
