Giyani: Police Deputy Cassel Mathale, alongside the Limpopo Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Jan Petrus Scheepers, is set to lead a Crime Prevention Ministerial Imbizo in Giyani, Thomo Village in Limpopo. The event is designed to foster meaningful engagement between the South African Police Service (SAPS), traditional leaders, community members, and key stakeholders to collaboratively tackle and prevent crime.
According to South African Government News Agency, the imbizo will address significant issues such as gender-based violence and femicide (GBVF), stock theft, and other prevalent crimes impacting Thomo Village and its neighboring communities. The goal of the engagement is to identify practical and sustainable solutions while reinforcing partnerships in the ongoing battle against crime.
