A cooperation agreement was signed, Wednesday, in Tunis between the ministries of social affairs and communication technologies to facilitate citizens' access to social benefits through mobile identity. This agreement, which was signed by Social Affairs Malek Ezzahi and Minister of Communication Technologies Nizar Ben Néji, aims to promote the exchange of data through an online platform, reads a press release published by the Social Affairs Ministry. The agreement is part of implementing the national digital strategy 2021-2025, simplifying procedures and administrative services provided to citizens with a view to consolidating the digital transformation process, in particular at the Ministry of Social Affairs and the services that fall under it. The agreement also aims to adopt electronic signatures in online administrative procedures which require reliable electronic evidence as well as simplifying access via the citizen portal to sectoral platforms under the Ministry of Social Affairs. This agreement a lso provides for the intangible exchange of data with a view to improving the quality of data entered into databases of the Ministry of Social Affairs.
