Tunis: The Popular Current Monday called for setting speedily a presidential election date. Issuing a decree regulating these elections will help wrap up the controversy, the party further said in a statement released Monday following a central committee meeting. The Independent High Authority for Elections (French: ISIE) board will meet shortlty, said member Najla Abrougui. A press conference will be held to announce the election calendar.
