President Kais Saied met South African Ambassador Siphosezwe Masango at the Carthage Palace on Wednesday, at the end of his mission in Tunisia. The Head of State praised the 'historic relations between Tunisia and South Africa and underlined the commitment of both nations to just causes in the world, particularly the Palestinian cause. On this occasion, President Saied invited his South African counterpart to visit Tunisia, on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. For his part, the South African diplomat expressed his gratitude for the support and assistance he received during his mission in Tunisia. He also expressed his country's pride in the historic bilateral relations and its willingness to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields in the interest of both countries and peoples.
