Run-off local election candidates in the constituency of Bouhlel, Essouassi (Mahdia governorate), namely Sabeur Rzid and Mohamed EL Haj Nacer, have infrastructure and road development at the core of their election platforms . Rzid, who won 320 votes in the first round, undertook to relaunch the stalled projects, create a primary healthcare centre and promote the agricultural sector and employment. Fellow candidate Nacer, with his 295 votes in the 1st round, promised to provide internet access for all and assistance for needy families and the elderly, in addition to revamping schools, building a secondary school, boosting entrepreneurship projects for young people and creating sports facilities in the region.
