Tunis: The Military Training Center of the Sfax Air Base will receive, on May 22, the first promotion of soldiers engaged for the benefit of the Air Force, Commander of the Center, Colonel Khaldoun Achour. Women represent between 15 to 17% of this first promotion of committed soldiers who will be trained at the Sfax Air Base, Col. Achour told journalists during a visit held by the National Defence Ministry for the benefit of a group of journalists, at this military base. Created on December 25, 1978, this center was initially based in Bizerte, at the Kharrouba Air Base. In 2022, it was relocated in the Sfax Air Base to receive the first promotion of corporal students, who graduate in October 2023. The center provides military and physical training for student corporals who are often be assigned to the air force, administrations and common services, the same source adds.
