A 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her biological father at Uukuvu village in the Okahao Constituency of the Omusati Region recently. The Namibian Police Force's Regional Commander for Omusati, Commissioner Ismael Basson, said the matter was reported to the police by the girl's 73-year-old grandmother. 'It is alleged that the suspect entered the victim's bedroom while she was asleep around 22h00 and sexually assaulted her,' he said. The suspect has not yet been arrested.
