Tunis: A Tunisian boat carrying 1,609 tonnes of medical and humanitarian aid will leave the Port of Rades, on Monday, at 2pm bound for Egypt then Gaza, as part of a drive to show solidarity with the Palestinian people, said Spokesperson for the Tunisian Red Crescent Boutheina Gregba. This "humanitarian boat" is carrying 1,609 tonnes of medical and food aid supplies, 2 ambulances, 4 mobile basic healthcare units, 19 water tanks, a dialysis unit, medicines and food aid, she told TAP. The ship will dock at Port Said, next Thursday, to unload the humanitarian aid, which will be transported by trucks to Gaza via the Rafah border crossing in coordination with Egyptian authorities and the Egyptian Red Crescent, she pointed out.
