Zaghouan: The governorate of Zaghouan has seen a record grain harvest of 400,000 quintals this year, on 63,000 hectares sown in the region. 262,000 quintals of grain have been harvested, including 252,000 quintals of durum wheat, 8,000 quintals of common wheat, 51,000 quintals of barley and 1,600 quintals of triticale, Regional Commissioner for Agriculture Fayçel Gotaa told TAP. He added that 29,000 quintals of selected barley seed had been stored for sowing during the next agricultural season.
