Tunisia’s U16 basketball national team (men) lost to their Egyptian counterparts (46-79) at a day-3 game of the Arab Championship for the category (held June 18-26) in Jordan, played on Tuesday.
The men’s team had defeated Algeria 72-67 at day 1 and Jordan 66-59 at day 2. Four teams (men and women) are taking part in the tournament, namely Tunisia, Jordan, Egypt and Algeria.
The competition will take the form of a three-day mini-championship, culminating in semi-finals between the first and fourth teams and the second and third teams.
The two winners will meet in the final on June 26.
