President Kais Saied visited the Intilaqa, Ettahamen, Douar Hicher and 18 Janvier neighbourhoods on Thursday, where he met with a number of citizens and traders to discuss the availability of basic commodities. During his walk, the Head of State met with a number of citizens, listened to their concerns and inspected the availability of milk and sugar in a grocery store. The President stressed the need for sugar to be regularly made available in the required quantities and said that the coffee shortage crisis would soon be resolved. He called for "zero tolerance" for monopolists and manipulators of citizens' purchasing power and strict application of the law. As part of the visit, President Kais Saied also inspected the project to clean up one of the popular neighbourhoods and connect it to the sewage system. Source: Agence Tunis Afrique Presse
